The course covers the main areas of materials, components and processes in electronics, electronic devices and circuits, applied and industrial electronics, microwave engineering, field propagation and antenna systems, pulse and switching circuits, signal and information theory, electronic measurements and instrumentation, communication systems (including optical communication), electronic computer, control systems, television engineering, integrated circuits, radar engineering, microprocessors and computer software development. The facilities and expertise cover requirements for research and consultancy in the areas of telecommunication, optical communication, microwaves, microprocessor applications and computers.
Facilities
The department has modern equipment in its laboratories in the fields of electronics, television, digital electronics and microprocessors, communication including optical communication and microwaves. Printers and other peripheral devices are available in the computer laboratory, in addition to
