Facilities
The department has excellent computing facilities which include latest technology based computer systems, scanners, servers, multimedia kits, Indy Graphic workstations, etc. The Computer Laboratory maintains adequate number of computers and peripherals of latest configurations for teaching and research work. It features software required for conducting the courses as well as other utilities required for development of the skills of the students. All computers are connected to each other through structured networking systems and certified by the agencies concerned. The AI and Robotics Laboratory supports research in knowledge based systems for design, manufacturing and control system integration, natural language processing and digital image processing. The Electronics Laboratory provides exposure in areas involving basic hardware design, digital electronics and applied electronics based practical problems. This laboratory is equipped with 20 MHz oscilloscopes, frequency generators function generators, pulse generators, HIL digital ICs, Linear ICs and discrete component kits. It also has advanced kits using various microprocessors. |
