The institute will start functioning from the academic year 2011-12 with an initial intake of 100 students in the B. Ed course. Gradually the number of students will increase with additional intake capacity and also with introduction of M. Ed course in future. In addition to the class rooms and the library, the institute will have a multipurpose hall, ICT Resource Centre, Psychology Resource Centre, Art & Craft Resource Centre, Health and Physical Education Resource Centre and Science & Mathematics Resource Centre beside Seminar Rooms and other facilities.

End of any education or training is in translating the acquired knowledge into action by way of employment or entrepreneurship.
